
Four Belgian Records for Roos Vanotterdijk in Drachten
Last weekend (19 & 20 October 2024) Roos Vanotterdijk swam just four Belgian Records at the Drachten Qualification Meet in the Netherlands.
On Saturday 19 October, Roos swam an incredible time of 26.61 on the 50m backstroke (previous time was Roos' in Aachen October 2022 in 27.27). On the same day, Roos swam a new Belgian record on the 50m freestyle in a time of 24.77 (previous record by Kimberly Buys, from 2018 in Eindhoven in 24.80).
On Sunday 20 October, Roos managed to break the Belgian record twice on the 100m backstroke on the same day, 58.12 and 58.04!
Previous record stood since 2012 in the name of once again Kimberly Buys, in 58.15, swum in Chartres.
