Swimming
Swimming is one of the most popular basic Olympic sport disciplines. Who doesn’t know Frederik Deburghgraeve or Michaël Phelps? In competition swimming there are several swimming styles and distances, in individual races and in relay events as well.
The RBSF organises each year 4 Belgian Swimming Championships (OPEN Long Course, OPEN Short Course and 2 summer championships for age groups).
The RBSF also establishes qualifying times and selection criteria for the national swimming teams which will participate at European and World Championships every 2 years.
