Olympic Limit for Florine Gaspard & two Belgian Records!

Last weekend in Amiens (France), the 15th Meeting des Hortillons was organised, from 15/12/2023 tem 17/12/2023.

Florine Gaspard (Club De Natation Bastogne) who has been training in Marseille for several years and is breaststroke specialist, under the wing of Franck Esposito, swam the Olympic Qualification Time on the 50 freestyle!

On the same day, she also managed to swim two new Belgian records in the 50 freestyle and the new time is 24.65! 

This makes Florine the first Belgian swimmer to dip below the magic limit of 25 seconds, and what a leap!

We warmly congratulate Florine on achieving this dream!

Thus, we as Belgium currently have 4 individual swimmers for the Paris Olympics: Lucas Henveaux, Valentine Dumont, Roos Vanotterdijk and Florine Gaspard!
