Report WC Masters Doha 2024

At the last Masters World Championships in Doha, 14 Belgians defended the Belgian colours in diving, open water swimming and swimming. Our Belgian official Evi Van der Gucht was appointed as an international judge for the artistic swimming discipline and had a fantastic new experience. Thank you Evi!

They won 15 medals and set at least five Belgian records.

The following masters won medals:

Caroline Cavadini (CNBA): 5 medals (2 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze) for the swimming discipline

Steven Claes (ZCT): 3 medals (1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze) including 1 gold in the 3KM open water event and silver and bronze medals in the swimming discipline.

Eric Richelle (PLOUF): 3 medals (2 silver, 1 bronze) in the swimming discipline

Pierrette Michel (CNSW): 1 medal (1 silver) in the swimming discipline

Tim Boumans (KAZSC): 2 medals (1 gold, 1 bronze) in the diving discipline

Dries Laukens (KAZSC): 1 medal (1 bronze) for the diving discipline
