Roos Vanotterdijk shines in Antwerp!

At the past Flanders Swimming Cup (7 to 9 February 2025) in Antwerp, Roos Vanotterdijk achieved two top times with a Belgian Record each on the 100 backstroke & on the 100 freestyle respectively!

Saturday 08/02/2025 Roos swam 58.97 on the 100m backstroke, breaking the barrier of 59’ as the first woman in Belgium to do so.

Sunday 09/02/2025 In a superb battle for the gold medal with her opponent Milou Van Wijk from the Netherlands, Roos swam a sub 54’ on the 100m freestyle, new record time 53.62! Milou took the gold this time and she also swam to a top time 53.51.

Roos was clearly in her prime and shows that barriers can be broken!
