Swim World Cup Berlin 2022: New BR for Roos Vanotterdijk & multiple final places for Belgian team
At the Swim World Cup in Berlin (25m) last weekend (21/10/22 - 23/10/22), our Belgian ladies turned in fine performances.
Roos Vanotterdijk swam personal records on all her races & was able to improve the Belgian Record on the 100 medley twice. The new time is now 59.34! Roos qualified for two finals (100 medley,100 butterfly) and finished 7th & 6th. Congratulations to Roos.
Valentine Dumont was able to qualify for three finals (200, 400 and 800 freestyle). On the 800 freestyle she just missed the podium, but swam a beautiful 4th time in 8.28.29!
Florine Gaspard was able to qualify for the final on the 50 breaststroke and in the final she did even better in a time of 30.05! She missed the podium by a few hundredths, will give her extra energy for next time.
Fleur Vermeiren finished a solid 17th place on both the 50 and 100 breaststroke.
For Zinke Delcommune it was her 1st participation in a World Cup and she was able to take a nice 21st place on her best number 200 medley.
Congratulations to all the ladies and on to the next one!
