Farewell to mister Finet Jean

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Jean Finet who departed from us on Monday 14th, at the age of 86.

For 45 dedicated years, Mr. Finet served as the esteemed president of various swimming clubs and made an indelible mark in the world of sports. His significant contributions include serving as the president of the Hainaut district, and as a member and president of the Frenchspeaking sports committee , was also part of the national sports commission. Mr. Finet's role as a referee in numerous competitions showcased his commitment to the sport, and he was also recognized as a member with merits by the Royal Belgian Swimming Federation (RBSF).

With deep regret, we acknowledge the loss of a prominent figure in the Belgian swimming community. Mr. Finet's legacy will be remembered with great respect and fondness.

The funeral service will take place on Saturday 18th at Frameries.

During these challenging times, we extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Mr. Finet. His passion for and dedication to the world of Belgian swimming will be dearly missed.
